There are two Members in the club that compete in road racing.
They are David Barfoot Who won the 125jnr championship and was 3rd in the 125 championship with the North Gloucester Club in 2003.
The other rider is Dean Jones who ended his first full season with 6th place
in the 600 class, and he will be contesting the series in 2004.
This year David hopes to do better and win the 125 championship outright.
2004 has started well in attrocious weather in Pembrey, it was a 2 day meeting and David came away with 2 wins in the 125jnr races and a win and a fourth in the 125 championship.
The same can't be said for Dean Jones, on the Saturday he was baulked by another
rider and went off the track but recovered to finnish in 24th place.
In the second race he was again put off line and ended up in the dirt and a broken leg.
We hope he has a quick recovery to start again.
