HOW I
STARTED RACING
I went to
Pembrey with some friends to see some road racing at club level. I saw that
some of the bikes had their lights taped off.
I thought "RACING" I could do that, and I've always wanted to have a go, so
I got all the info and entered the last meeting in September 2001 at Pembrey
with the North Gloucester road racing club.
I got onto the grid and thought "WHAT THE HECK AM I DOING HERE" but off
we went, I got lapped but I enjoyed it so much I was hooked and said that is
for me.

2002 SEASON
I entered most of the Streetstock rounds with North Gloucester
motorcycle racing club, my riding improved and I was still having a good time.
I finished the season 6th overall in the Club Championship, and was looking
forward to 2003.

I completed all the rounds of the North Gloucester Motor
Cycle Racing Club and was never out of the top ten.

30/3/03-----Thruxton-----3rd.-----"The fastest i've ever ridden".
27/4/03-----Keevil-----2nd.-----"lead the race for the first five laps in the
rain".
28/6/03-----Darley Moor-----4th.
29/6/03-----Darley Moor-----2nd. I was leading bur went grass tracking on the
last lap.
19/7/03-----Donington-----6th. in the first race.
19/7/03-----Donington-----14th. I got "T" boned in this race on craner curves
and rode for two laps with the gear linkage hanging of but I still got 1 point.

10/8/03-----Pembrey-----4th.
07/9/03-----Keevil-----5th.
20/9/03-----Pembrey-----4th.

All these
results are in "class", and going into the last round at Pembrey I was in "Third"
possition in the Championship.
After the last race I secured enough points to move up to "Second" place in
the Championship.
